The successful candidate will assist clients in protecting their technological innovations by drafting and prosecuting patent applications through the . Duties:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications through the USPTO.
- Conduct thorough patent searches and analyses.
- Prepare and file responses to Office Actions and other USPTO correspondence.
- Assist with patent-related due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to gather necessary technical and legal information.
- Manage multiple assignments from various partners and clients, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Review and analyze prior art and patent claims to assess patentability and infringement issues.
- Provide technical and legal support in patent portfolio management and strategy.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Patent Agent.
- Master’s Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in organic chemistry, applied chemistry, polymer science, polymer engineering, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and Patent Bar eligible.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
