Education and CLE Assistant The candidate will supports the Education Department, providing administrative support to various projects, facilitating the accreditation for more than fifty programs annually, reporting earned CLE credits in all relevant jurisdictions, assisting with registrations and orders, and responding to AAJ members over the phone and email. Will work independently and as part of a team, be well organized. Serve as a customer service representative for education programs and products and services on the education phone line, voicemail, e-mail, and fax machine. Serve as the main contact for continuing legal education-related correspondence, including accreditation and attendance reporting for all education programs. Maintain AAJ member transcript records for distinguishing levels of professional achievement programs and dispatch all letters and awards annually to recipients. Provide clerical support for all Education Department projects, including assisting with the preparation for Annual and Winter Conventions, standalone seminars and colleges, webinars, and the Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Assist education managers with program evaluations, faculty reports, correspondence, rosters, CLE documentation, memos, expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents as needed. Assist department with the budget analysis for CLE accreditation fees and reporting fees. Compile monthly Expense Reports for Senior Director of Education, Director of Education, and others as needed. Assist with the content management of Web pages for all education programs. Support the administration of AAJ Press product sales and fulfillment. Assist Legal Content Editor with formatting and compiling written reference materials. Other administrative duties as needed. Should have 1-3 years experience work as an office assistant, executive assistant, or similar administrative role. BA or BS is strongly preferred (paralegal certificate or associates degree and on the job experience can be substituted). Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required; familiarity with Avectraâ€™s NetForum CRM is preferred. Customer service experience is desired. Interest in supporting access to the civil justice system is required. Excellent oral and written communication and strong customer service skill is required.
