Paralegal The candidate will work in conjunction with other legal support team members, the technical support team, as well as attorneys and end clients as necessary. May include: Assist with legal research related to: Citation identification, Precedence research, Intellectual Property rights and timelines, Related, similar, and concurrent cases, Assistance with preparation of documents to be filed/served, Management of correspondence for multiple ongoing matters, Maintenance of case files for multiple ongoing matters including organization of official case materials, attorney work product, and template documentation specific to matters. General support to attorney case teams including logistics, research, and matter facts. Assistance with document review/organization including preparation of hard copy document sets or digital portfolios.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. 1+ year of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support position. Experience using advanced search functionality of legal research tools such as Westlaw & LexisNexis. Active ABA Paralegal Certificate. 3+ years as paralegal or similar legal support position. Experience with document review platforms such as Relativity, Concordance, Summation, iPro, View Point, etc. Working knowledge of EDRM and associated case timeline. Previous attendance as trial/hearing support team member. Strong documentation skills, including the ability to maintain and organize multiple versions and drafts of documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with Adobe Pro & Reader. Ability to efficiently multi-task and prioritize between multiple active matters. Excellent communication skills through face-to-face, email, and phone correspondence. Ability to accurately and efficiently track time spent on specific tasks and matters. General knowledge of legal terminology, timelines, and case procedures including depositions, discovery requests, hearings. Ability to act with with limited instruction under strict deadlines.
