Litigation Legal Assistant The candidate responsibilities will include: Scheduling; Maintaining calendars; Maintain court dockets and rosters; Document management and analysis for large cases; Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests; Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses; Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel; Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court. Must have 3+ years’ experience working in a law firm. Should have thorough understanding of the litigation process. Knowledge of court and administrative hearing rules and procedures is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, etc… and other legal software applications is needed. Professional demeanor, excellent communication and computer skills is must.
