Law Student
Spring Internship The student will serve as Elder Law Practice Intern. Will work closely with our five attorneys to provide direct elder law services to low income seniors. Interns gain a familiarity with public health insurance options and appeals, long term care in the home, the use of Supplemental Needs Trusts for disabled individuals, and the many planning documents, including powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills and last wills and testaments. A part-time commitment (2+ days per week, 12-14 hours) is required. Should have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and a strong commitment to public interest law. Application Period: September 1 to January 1
