Paralegal - Litigation The candidate will be a critical part of firm's client service teams, working side by side with lawyers, co-counsel and clients on an array of substantive client matters. Will be assisting attorneys with preparing necessary documents for witness interviews, depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration. Also be responsible for locating and reviewing information applicable to a particular case, person, or subject through online research or document reviews. Manage large volumes of documents and work with each case and transaction, review, organize and maintain document databases for discovery, document production and attorney review, and assist attorneys in preparation of pleadings/motions and the coordination of service of process.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate. Must have 3 years' experience as a litigation paralegal in a legal department or law firm. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have experience with litigation technology, including eDiscovery, and eRooms. Good experience with legal software such as Relativity is required. Must have strong oral and written communication. Good experience with Cite-Checking and Blue Booking is preferred.
