Paralegal/Administrative Assistant
The candidate will provide purposeful support to the attorneys and senior paralegals in the legal department. This support includes maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents. Assist team with contractor, vendor and provider contracting; corporate and compliance administrative duties; and other general administrative tasks. General Contracting Tasks: examples include, assisting with simple amendments, processing signatures using electronic signature programs, administering Non-disclosure Agreements and Contractor Agreements using standard template, assisting vendor and provider senior paralegals. Workflow Improvement and Document Retention Practices: develop and document systems and best practices to promote efficient workflow and to create effective document repositories for vendor and provider contracts, corporate and statutory filings, and other projects related to contracting. Vendor Database Tasks: examples include, uploading signed contracts to vendor records, answer questions from Bright personnel on use of system, reporting, data integrity, OIG checks, other projects related to system. Corporate Tasks: Examples include, organizing corporate filing documents, corporate minute books, subsidiary minutes, statutory filings. Recognize issues in day to day activities that require elevation to other team members. Notarial duties for corporate and licensure filing documents. General administrative and organizational duties for legal team. Other tasks as may be required due to ever-shifting team work loads.

Qualification and Experience

A Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, or in lieu of degree, 3 years of relevant work experience required. Notary Commission is preferred. Proficient in intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office required. Should have useful experience includes use of Quickbase, Excel, Slack, Adobe Sign, Adobe Pro, Docusign, Dropbox. Must have knowledge of databases and tracking systems, or an aptitude to learn such systems as may be used. Should have ability to grasp and interpret legal documents. Must have strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
