Legal IP Advisor The candidate will report directly to the Head of Digital IP Advisory Services. Will work on Brand Protection and Enforcement for CSC clients, including overall case management and Background investigations and research. Guidance on strategy for strong brand protection program. Drafting of Domain Name Dispute Complaints. Account management and client services related to:. Drafting of cease and desist letters, complaints, and other documents in relation to domain name infringement issues. Domain name acquisitions and strategic brand development. Brand abuse protection, including phishing, social media abuse and marketplace monitoring. Work as part of a Global Team of IP Advisors. Participating and presenting in IP Advisor Workgroups and other DBS workgroups as determined by Team Lead and Regional Leader. Serve as the IP Advisor Liaison to the local office for both IP Advisor related work as well as general office responsibilities as determined by the Regional Leader. Attend ongoing training seminars and sessions. Supporting the Service and Account Management teams through the Salesforce ticketing portal (Fulfilling client domain related requests with the highest degree of accuracy). Budgeting and invoicing issues. Reporting. Renewals. Upsell Value Added Services. Thorough understanding of our clients’ brands and businesses. Independent research required to stay up to date with client brand information and keep the Client Handover Documents up to date for all assigned clients. Provide business and industry updates to clients. Provide semi-annual progress updates to clients on Enforcement actions. Supporting high profile clients with delivery of exceptional services and support. Provide strategic advice to clients to help build a comprehensive brand protection strategy. Proactive thinking to anticipate client concerns and provide solutions. Fast response rate for any client communications (must respond same business day). Information conveyed to client must be accurate and thorough. Additional administrative duties. Some out of work hours are expected. Law Degree or equivalent is preferred. Independent courses in Intellectual Property Law and Experience in online brand protection is essential. Exceptional attention to detail and time management skill is essential. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, English. Additional language skill is preferred. Computer proficient (use of MS Excel, Outlook and Word required) is essential.
