Associate Counsel - Supply Chain & IP Duties: Provide on-going legal advice and business support to business leaders across business units on supply chain, fleet, distribution and IP issues. Primary responsibility includes drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and protection of Companyâ€™s intellectual property. Develop a deep and expert understanding of the companyâ€™s products, services and business model. Build strong relationships with company executives, become a part of the Companyâ€™s Supply Chain group and assist other internal clients. Prepare, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to contracts for internal stakeholders regarding procurement, marketing, licensing, technology, financing, fleet financing and commodity procurement. Prepare, develop and improve contract forms and templates. Manage all legal aspects of intellectual property (IP) related to the companyâ€™s operations.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from a top law school; member of a State Bar in good standing. 5+ years of corporate and commercial transactions, with a strong background structuring, drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Law firm and in-house experience preferred. Exceptional analytical skills, integrity, and judgment regarding both legal and business issues. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support a wide range of internal clients. Specific experience with energy matters preferred.
