Job description The candidate for this position will be successful if they are able to execute a variety of paralegal duties of a confidential nature in primarily Family Law cases. These tasks will include working with attorneys, paralegals and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions. Therefore, the candidate will have to have effective time managements and organizational skills coupled with the ability to be detail oriented. Responsibilities Administrative functions such as communicating with clients, drafting and reviewing legal documents, scheduling hearings, court settings, mediations and other functions, following up on data collection critical to cases Managing cases and the flow of information through the law firm between attorneys, paralegals, clients, and support staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school degree or equivalent experience (minimum), Associate or undergraduate degree preferred Paraleagal or legal secretary certifications Knowledge of Clio case-management software and Google Drive/G-Suite a plus 3-5 years of experience in Family Law Strong organizational and communication skills Self-starter Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Skilled in personal stress management
