Job Overview:

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its expanding Civil Litigation Department. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex cases involving real estate, construction, business, employment, land use, municipal, and wills/trusts disputes primarily within Virginia. Location:

• Manassas, VA

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including real estate, construction, business, employment, land use, municipal, and wills/trusts disputes.
• Advocate for clients in both Virginia state and federal courts.
• Draft and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Manage and grow existing client relationships while developing new business.
• Collaborate with team members, including paralegals and other attorneys, to deliver high-quality legal services.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client communication throughout the litigation process.
• Demonstrate initiative and entrepreneurial spirit to drive business development and case growth.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on cases in Virginia.
• Proven ability to advocate effectively in state and federal courts.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and client service.
• Dynamic, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• Licensed to practice law in Virginia and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.

Education:

Certifications:

• Active Virginia State Bar membership required.
