Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Advocate for clients in asylum cases, border representation, and criminal alien removal or detention cases.
  • Handle cases involving criminal alien detention and removal proceedings.
  • Prepare legal arguments and documents to present before federal courts as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration laws and policies to provide informed legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • Law school graduate or practicing attorney.
  • Strong interest in specializing in removal defense and immigration law.
  • Demonstrated commitment to advocating for immigrants and understanding the value of immigration.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with attention to detail.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar admission in any . jurisdiction is preferred but not required at the time of application.
