Paralegal
The candidate will : Work directly with senior-level attorneys; Manage fact-finding and general interaction with business units; With attorney supervision, review, assess, and comment on complicated vendor agreements and other contracts; Independently review contracts, NDAs, and maintain as current legal department template contracts and policies; Draft documents and legal correspondence; Conduct legal research; Independently develop and maintain tracking systems for certain filings, and version control for contracts and company policies; Organize and maintain files; Monitor and report on changes to government regulations/ laws pertaining to Altice USA services. Gather and analyze laws, regulations, and administrative requirements; “As needed” support for regulatory reporting and compliance filings; Perform other assignments as required by the legal department.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have B.A. degree and Bar-certified paralegal certificate preferred. Should have 5+ years relevant experience preferred. Law firm or corporate experience preferred. Demonstrated history of independently reviewing, assessing and revising commercial contracts (preferably in telecommunications or other regulated industry). Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to achieve business goals. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of personal portfolio. Demonstrated creative, flexible problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to assist in the movement of projects through a corporate organization. Strong executive communications skills (within the legal team, and representing the legal team to the business) Ability to proactively engage with lawyers and demonstrate how your skills and services support and enhance the overall productivity of the legal department. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Consumer Protection regulation, including financial and credit issues a plus. Familiarity with Marketing and Privacy a plus.
