A law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans, and will be a key member of deal teams, managing key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing. Experience in a large law firm is strongly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee commercial real estate finance transactions, including commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans.
  • Serve as a key member of deal teams, handling critical aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, including credit agreements, promissory notes, and related agreements.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including title and survey review, and coordinate with other legal and business teams.
  • Provide legal advice on complex real estate finance issues and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of legal opinions and other documentation related to transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting real estate finance.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, with a proven track record in managing transactions and deal teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans.
  • Experience working in a large law firm is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of real estate finance law, including due diligence, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania or eligibility to become admitted.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal and financial issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
