Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on real estate and construction defect matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Represent clients in mediation, dispute resolution, and litigation.
  • Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Work closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Manage multiple cases while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant legal experience (experience in construction defect law is a plus).
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Trial experience is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with community association law is a bonus.
  • Admission to the California Bar is in good standing.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active California Bar License (Required).
