Profile

Investigations Counsel The candidate will manage its investigative legal work, including lawsuits brought under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Will be providing legal oversight to firm's investigations. Prosecuting FOIA or other public records lawsuits. Assisting with other litigation tasks as needed. Preparing presentations and reports on projects to the Director of Litigation; and Performing other related duties as assigned. Should have J.D. Degree. Must be Admitted to the District of Columbia Bar and the U.S. District Court for D.C. Must have 5-10 years of litigation experience, including at least 1-3 years’ experience in FOIA litigation. Must possess superb interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills. Must have ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities, and prioritize work in a dynamic, deadline-intensive environment. Experience with constitutional law issues preferred.
