Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will handle duties that include: Review loan transactions. Draft UCC's for real estate financing statements. Draft and review lien search reports. Reviewing title and survey materials. Drafting simple organizational documents, such as articles of incorporation, certificates of limited partnership, bylaws and written consents, and filing them with the relevant Secretary of State where needed. Drafting other simple documents, such as affidavits and collateral transaction documents. Preparing due diligence checklists. Participating on weekly due diligence conference calls. Updating due diligence checklists to account for due diligence received or posted to a dropbox or an external website and distributing updated checklists to the working group. Organizing/transferring posted due diligence to NetDocs. Ordering good standing certificates and public record searches. Preparing and filing UCC’s for documents connected to real estate finance transactions. Preparing signature pages packages in preparation for transaction closings. Assembling and distributing final closing documents or closing binders. Drafting initial and final title/survey memos, loan memos and tax abatement memos, attaching relevant exhibits to each memo and sending the compiled memos to our client. Should have 5+ years of experience as a Title & Survey Paralegal. Bachelor's degree is required. Survey experience is a strong plus.
