Corporate Paralegal
Duties: Assisting with entity formation, mergers, drafting employment and confidentiality agreements, and preparing drafts of corporate organizational documents. Assisting with closings of acquisitions and mergers, and other transactions. Maintenance of all relevant documents during the closing, organizing and maintaining deal documents. Drafting and filing documents related to ongoing operations such as forms, letter and other legal documents. Creating and maintaining calendars for transactions . Supporting General Counsel with client/matter file maintenance, organization and related tasks. Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Company goals and objectives.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. Certificate of completion of a certified paralegal program. 7+ years of Corporate Transactional paralegal experience. Strategic thinker, self-motivated, team player, with ability to act independently and to coordinate projects among multiple stakeholders. Strong communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work well under pressure and work effectively with company executives, attorneys, and other in-house staff. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail. Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
