Corporate Counsel, Employment Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and legal support on EEO-related policies and processes (harassment, discrimination, retaliation, etc.); Investigations processes and policies; Affirmative action plans and government contractor requirements under Exec. Order 11246 and mandatory and voluntary diversity efforts . Manage audits, including OFCCP, EEOC and other labor audits. Draft training and materials related to diversity and inclusion. Advise on internal creation and dissemination of statistics and data related to diversity. Respond to EEOC, OFCCP, Office of Civil Rights, DFEH and other state and local agency initiatives and litigation support.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: JD Degree or equivalent degree. Admitted to the Bar in which position is located and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located. 5 years of broad-based employment law experience on complex/varied matters within a law firm or comparable in-house experience. Preferred: Direct or indirect (e.g., via a secondment) in-house experience. First hand experience in interacting with OFCCP, EEOC, state and local EEO agencies on complex matters. Experience in advising and implementing HR/employment policies; experience of data protection and intellectual property ownership issues in the employment context. Exposure to or actual experience in a US multinational corporation. Immigration and visa support experience. Experience with OSHA compliance and employee health and safety legal issues.
