ProfileFunds Paralegal The candidate will organize and file relevant legal documentation into a document management system and proprietary firm electronic database, create standard legal documentation for regulatory, state and foreign filings, organize, prioritize and appropriately handle legal documents and sensitive, confidential information, support, review, update and implement existing and prospective governing documentation in connection with the firm’s investment products, draft. Will manage board materials, assist in resolving routine comments on Board materials from fund and in-house counsel, auditors, and other reviewers, assist in all aspects of the planning, preparation and execution of Board meetings, perform research on issues regarding the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as needed. Must have a basic knowledge of the financial industry, including an understanding of various investment products, including separately managed accounts and hedge funds, as well as an understanding of the corporate governance materials related to these structures.
