San Diego office of our client seeks staff attorney with 3-5 years of workplace law and related litigation experience. The candidate will handle defense of agency charges of discrimination, lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and advice and counseling involving similar issues. Will advise and train employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination laws. Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases. Experience in workplace law and employment litigation defending discrimination charges and lawsuits is preferred. Experience with employment class action is a plus. Experience with insurance defense is essential. California Bar Admission is required. Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques is needed. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
