A law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a skilled Privacy and Cyber Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex cases involving privacy and cyber issues.

Job Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of litigation cases related to privacy and cyber matters.
  • Lead fact investigations and conduct thorough legal research.
  • Develop effective litigation strategies and draft various pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel and participate actively in settlement discussions.
  • Collaborate within a team environment and supervise junior attorneys as needed.
  • Handle client communications and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to privacy, cyber security, and related litigation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in good standing.
  • 3-5 years of significant litigation experience, preferably with a focus on privacy and cyber matters.
  • Experience managing all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial or settlement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on smaller projects and effectively manage workflow for larger projects.
  • Familiarity with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or other privacy-related statutes is a plus.
