Guardian Ad Litem Law Clerk (Fall 2018) The Law clerks will have a wide variety of responsibilities including conducting client intakes, completing court runs, researching and writing about legal issues, interviewing clients and witnesses, locating resources for clients, attending court hearings, and accompanying attorneys on home and school visits. Law students who wish to intern with the Children's Law Center will receive one-on-one supervision from an attorney throughout the summer. Law students or recent law graduates are considered. Each of the following projects may accept law clerks: Guardian ad litem Project (GAL), GAL Special Education Project, Families First (FF), Heathy Together (HT), and the Policy Team. Must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent analytical ability, strong writing skills, solid academic background, commitment to working with low-income populations, and willingness and enthusiasm to complete all tasks. Application deadline is July 6, 2018.
