Duties:

  • Represent clients in structured finance term and warehouse transactions, providing comprehensive legal support throughout the deal process.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and professionals to develop effective strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including transaction agreements, disclosure documents, and offering memoranda.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to facilitate negotiations and achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree (or equivalent degree) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar is preferred, with eligibility to practice law in other states considered a plus.
  • 1-2 years of transactional experience, ideally in structured finance and/or securitization transactions, demonstrating a strong understanding of the field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree required.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
