Duties:
- Represent clients in employment law litigation, including labor disputes and compliance issues.
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other documents related to employment law cases.
- Conduct depositions, discovery, and case management throughout the litigation process.
- Provide consulting advice to employers on employment law matters, compliance strategies, and best practices.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships while seeking new business development opportunities.
- Contribute to the growth of the firm's reputation in employment law and related fields.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on labor and employment litigation.
- Strong expertise in all phases of litigation, including document preparation, taking depositions, and arguing motions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues while managing client expectations and relationships.
- Proven record of professional achievement and a competitive mindset.
- Portable book of business is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active membership in the Michigan Bar and/or Ohio Bar, in good standing.
Skills:
