Litigation Paralegal Candidate will be responsible for supporting attorneys in the various aspects of litigation related to case preparation, management, and execution. Will include: Review and index document productions; draft and manage discovery; manage case management matrix; review and summarize medical records; prepare, serve and manage subpoenas; research social media civil and criminal backgrounds; manage key documents for witness interviews, deposition and trials; and assist with deposition, trial and mediation preparation.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: A Paralegal certificate and/or college degree is also strongly preferred. Must have 5+ years of litigation experience and be able to meet a billing requirement of 125 hours per month. Business & Commercial Litigation, Insurance, Insurance Coverage, Product Liability and Transportation experience a plus. Extensive computer, software and database expertise is strongly desired. Document management software, Pacer, Alacourt, and Westlaw experience required. Must be extremely detail oriented, effectively manage multiple deadlines, and be a dependable team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent organizational skills, strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail are required.

"This Firm Could Be Better"

Management should try to get their previous manager back or replace the current employees. If management is not doing their job then employees will leave.

Pros : This work environment was good when I started. I loved my boss and he really seemed to care about his employees. Benefits were good and I got a lot of vacation time which was awesome. I also had a good relationship with the staff.
Cons : Unfortunately after our boss left and new management came in the place has been a mess. The firm is completely disorganized and management doesn't seem to care. The recent change has not been beneficial and it's become a chore coming into work.
