Legal Assistant - Paralegal The candidate will assist in the preparation of client and vendor contracts, amendments, change orders, and letters of intent. Will help prepare plans for case specific support such as document productions and trials. Proofread and prepare contract execution copies. Establish and maintain the integrity of electronic and paper contract files ensuring executed documents are filed correctly and organized logically. Update and maintain template contract. Perform research using the Internet and other sources and create verbal/written reports. Update and maintain corporate minute books, draft corporate board minutes and intercompany agreements, handle other corporate governance matters. Digest and summarize legal and business documents. Maintain confidentiality of client information.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Must have 3+ years of transactional and/or litigation support experience. Paralegal certification from the state of California is strongly preferred. Thorough understanding of the litigation lifecycle, legal documents, and procedural requirements is required. Knowledge of state and federal court rules is needed. Strong writing and editing skills are essential. Should be comfortable conducting Internet-based research. MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skill is essential. Industry knowledge in logistics and supply chains is a plus. Should be bilingual in Korean/English.
