Summary Agiliti is looking for an experienced, organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Legal Department. This hybrid role will work onsite three days per week with the option to work remote two days a week. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role will include drafting and reviewing contracts and other documents, organizing and maintaining legal documents, supporting transactions and asset acquisitions, preparing regulatory filings, performing legal research and preparing formal memoranda, managing projects and assisting with document production. Qualified candidates must have a Certified Paralegal (C.P) or Legal Assistant (C.L.A.) designation, or graduated and received a degree in any field with significant substantive experience as a paralegal or similar role. Additionally, they must possess a high energy level and ability to work with minimal oversight, excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and excellent investigative and research skills. Job Title: Paralegal Company: Agiliti Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Draft and review contracts and other documents (e.g., customer agreements, consulting agreements, services agreements, confidentiality agreements, interim letter agreements, proposal responses and requests), and route for approvals and signatures. - Organize and maintain legal documents within the department including licenses, contracts, leases, etc. - Support transactions and asset acquisitions. Coordinate legal diligence, disclosure, documentation and project management for deals. - Prepare various regulatory filings as needed - Perform legal research and prepare formal memoranda summarizing research under attorney supervision - Assist with document production and preparing responses for regulatory inquiries and litigation - Manage, and in some cases implement, various projects for Legal staff - Assist in the insurance/risk management program for Agiliti, including gathering information for insurance renewal, claims reporting, work with brokers and insurers to provide accurate certificates of insurance. - All other duties as assigned Required or Preferred Experience - Experience using contracting software or contract experience preferred - Certified Paralegal (C.P) or Legal Assistant (C.L.A.) designation preferred - Graduated from a legal assistant program that is approved by the American Bar Association, an associate degree program, a post-baccalaureate certificate program in legal assistant studies, or a bachelor's degree program in legal assistant studies - Or graduated and received a degree in any field with significant substantive experience as a paralegal or similar role - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is preferred Required Skills & Abilities - High energy level and ability to work with minimal oversight - Extremely organized and professional - Strong orientation to detail - Versatile, self-starter who is able to juggle numerous tasks at one time and prioritize workload efficiently in a very busy environment - Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills - Handles confidential information with discretion - Comfortable interfacing with senior executives - Excellent investigative and research skills Salary Information The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on experience.
