Paralegal for Litigation Team Duties: Performing specific job responsibilities and task within a legal setting under direct supervision of Team Lead and Managing Attorney. Draft and file motions, affidavits, memos and other legal documents with multi-state Court systems. Track motions status and responses, including interacting with the Court to ensure motions are processed on their end in a timely fashion. Process incoming legal documents from multi-state Courts. Review and analyze the sufficiency of documentation as it relates to state law or federal tax law requirements with regards to Foreclosure. Obtain fee approval and complete billing. Update Client on file status update through client systems, emails and phone calls.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: A recent graduate with Paralegal Certificate or Legal Studies degree. Paralegal certificate and 1 year of work experience in a law firm environment. Previous experience in mortgage banking is a plus. Professional written and communication skills, strong word-processing and proofreading skills, and a willingness to work meticulously to ensure the quality of work.
