This is a full-time position with a minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience required. The successful candidate must also bring an additional active license to practice in one or more of the following states: IN, KY, PA, OH, VA and/or WV. Our firm is fast-paced, progressive, and operates remotely with a team of over 50 attorneys, paralegals, and operations staff located around the country.
Responsibilities:
- Independently handle cases from start to finish
- Develop and execute strategies for advocating on behalf of clients
- Communicate with courts, administrative offices, financial institutions, and clients
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and security instruments
- Attend hearings and trials
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Graduate of an ABA accredited law school
- Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team
- Self-motivated and disciplined to work from home
- Highly organized and efficient with time management
- Resourceful and proactive problem-solver
- Confidence and drive to take initiative and be accountable for case outcomes
