Senior Paralegal, Dispute Resolution The candidate will assist with recoveries, discovery strategies, and processes in pre-litigation and litigation matters. Assisting with Global recovery efforts which will include identifying recovery opportunities, preparing claim filings, and working with consultants, outside counsel, and Hilton attorneys to maximize value of potential claims. Evaluating cases and making recommendations on strategic course of action in consultation with outside counsel and Hilton attorneys. Implementing discovery strategies and acting as a key liaison between the Legal department, the Director of E-Discovery, outside counsel and applicable business departments. Implementing and maintaining best in class litigation hold, custodian processes, and reminder practices and aligning with matter management software. Overseeing global franchise and Risk Management tender process. Understanding key Dispute Resolution issues and ensuring business partners are up-to-date on issues. Assisting in the quarterly and year end Watch List and Outside Counsel Letter cycle. Overseeing audits for owners and internal business groups. Supporting internal audit and finance inquiries on Dispute Resolution processes. Managing dispute resolution budgets. Reviewing and approving settlement contracts. Must have BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree. Should have 7+ years of Paralegal work experience. Legal experience from a major law firm, government entity, or corporate legal department is required. Proficient Microsoft Office experience is needed. Westlaw and/or Lexis research experience is essential. 3+ years of Dispute Resolution work experience is desired. Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
