A prominent law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its structured finance practice. This is a dynamic opportunity for an attorney with experience in structured finance, securitization, and asset-based lending to work on high-impact transactions. Duties

  • Support the firm's structured finance practice, including securitization and asset-based lending transactions.
  • Draft and review financial documents such as loan agreements and security agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to assist in structuring financial transactions.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and client counseling.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, providing high-level legal advice and services.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other legal documents as required.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client goals and expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, or asset-based lending.
  • Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of application.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of application.
