Legal Assistant The candidate will support the attorneys and staff with all stages of personal injury and worker’s compensation litigation. Will set up, organization and management of client files. Prepare written communications with clients, opposing counsel, vendors and court staff. Request medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents. Assist in the preparation, formatting, and filing of pleadings, notices, and motions in state and federal courts using conventional and e-filing systems. Prepare initial draft of a variety of substantive legal documents to include interrogatory requests, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and notices. Ensure proper calendaring of appearances and deadlines. Provide litigation case management and organize cases for court presentation. Create a welcoming, friendly environment for clients by providing excellent client services. Other duties as assigned. Must have a Degree from an accredited college or university, paralegal certificate, or 2years of relevant work experience as a paralegal. Should have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with WordPerfect and MS Office (Word and Excel) is required. Must be fluent in english.
