Litigation Technology Lead Analyst Duties: Work with Litigation Technology Case Managers to develop technology solutions to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. Assist Litigation Technology Case Managers with technical aspects of the overall planning and management of litigation discovery projects. These projects include database design, data conversion/formatting, loading of various data types into document databases, preparing data for Attorney/Paralegal review, processing and conversion of electronic data, troubleshooting software issues and quality control. Use of critical thinking, multitasking and troubleshooting abilities to formulate cost effective solutions for time-sensitive matters. Assist Litigation Technology management in researching and proposing systems and processes to improve current standards and ensure compatibility and integration with existing applications. Assist Litigation Team with requested billable and non-billable projects. In conjunction with the Lead Project Analyst of Litigation Technology, assist as required with the installation, maintenance, and administration of all Litigation Technology systems. Support Firm goals relating to billing and collections. On call duties as needed/required. Travel as required to update and maintain Litigation Technology systems and software.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree or commensurate work experience required; Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in Information Technology and/or Paralegal preferred. 3+ years progressively responsible work experience within a Litigation Technology department in a large, multi-location law firm. Experience with the electronic discovery processes, including preservation, data identification, collection, restoration, culling / filtering, conversion, review and production. Solid knowledge of Litigation Technology processes including: scanning, coding, OCR, bates labeling, blowbacks, document production, video synchronizing / editing, trial presentation, EDD, litigation database design, file conversion and document review. Must have proven ability to work well with all levels of firm personnel including administrative staff, attorneys, paralegals, clerks, Information Technology, etc. Excellent problem solving ability and decision making judgment. Technical knowledge and experience in the following: MS Office Suite, Case Map, Textmap, IPro Suite, Time Map, Sanction, Nuix, Relativity. Ability to deliver superior service to all internal and external customers and communicate effectively. Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with clients and employees at all times; professional appearance required. Ability to successfully perform position requirements with excellent organizational, time-management and prioritization skills required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team; ability and willingness to adapt to changing business demands. Ability to produce acceptable amount of work efficiently and accurately; ability to produce quality final work product. High level of professional integrity required; ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust.
