ProfileLegal Assistant The candidate handles complex projects with limited supervision. Organizes and manages electronic and paper files. Ensures that all files are maintained within department-approved protocols and case management systems. Maintains the integrity of client files. Performs frequent physical exertion including: sitting, repetitive use of both hands, lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds. Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Ability to navigate various electronic databases and document repositories is required. Should have strong research skills and proficiency in using various research tools, including the Internet. Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, SEC/EDGAR and court-related websites and/or media and financial services is needed. Should have a Bachelor's degree. Must have 1+ year of experience in a legal assistant position or a position requiring similar skillset, expertise, and experience.

Keep track of your superiors if you are in need of questions being answered."Pros : A great work environment that makes you feel productive. The work here is demanding, but rewarding. The staff is great and goes out of their way to work around your needs. There is room for growth and overall I had a great time working here.
