ProfileParalegal - Supervision and Regulation The candidate handles various aspects of Enforcement Section support, which includes processing the issuance and termination of enforcement actions, providing database support, and responding to information requests. Plans and carries out assignments in processing enforcement actions. Coordinates assignments with Board and System staff, and resolves conflicting viewpoints and competing interests according to objectives and deadlines developed. Establishes priorities and determines methodology for completing assignments. Reviews final enforcement actions for accuracy and completeness in preparing them for publication. Must be detail-oriented and resourceful in problem solving. Has demonstrated ability to complete special projects on short deadlines. Employee applies and adapts relevant policies and procedures in processing enforcement actions, performing enforcement support tasks, and preparing responsive information to FOIA and other information requests. Recommends new procedures, automation techniques, or policies to improve efficiency. Identifies and plans ways to manage a variety of enforcement support projects so that they are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Provides enforcement support as requested by attorney staff, following broad guidelines and using knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures. Creates and updates computer databases and produces a variety of statistical reports on enforcement actions. Analyzes less complex FOIA and other information requests to gather responsive documents and coordinate with S&R and Legal Division staff. Develops and executes a work strategy to successfully meet the overall objective of timely and accurate Enforcement Section support. Fosters and maintains a positive working relationship with S&R enforcement and other section staffs, as well as, staff of other Board divisions, and Reserve Bank staff for the purpose of processing enforcement actions and other duties assigned. Serves as the Section’s main contact to the Board’s Public Affairs Office regarding the publication of enforcement actions. Excellent organizational skills are required. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; and the analytical ability and strong oral and written communication skills typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree, an American Bar Association approved Legal Assistant (Paralegal) program, or equivalent experience is needed. Should have 1+ year of year of related experience. Must have 2+ years of related experience.
