Denver office of our client seeks employment attorney with 3+ years of experience providing advice and counsel and representing management in workplace law matters. The candidate will advise national clients in the rapidly developing area of Pay Equity. Will provide counsel regarding the expanding federal, state and local equal pay laws being enacted across the country. Oversee and direct pay equity reviews and the preparation of pay equity analyses conducted on a proactive bases and in response to agency enforcement proceedings and administrative litigation, and provide related advice and representation. Counsel clients regarding EEO systemic matters related to employee selection processes, pre-employment testing, diversity and inclusion programs. Provide advice and guidance on proactive self-audits and representation before federal and state enforcement agencies in response to EEO systemic claims. Provide counsel to clients regarding affirmative action requirements based upon federal, state or local contractor status. Oversees and direct the preparation of affirmative action plans for the government contractor clients. Provide representation and defense in response to audits, investigations and litigation by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Counsel the clients in other developing areas of workplace law and proactive self-audits and present training for clients on those matters. Should be Member in good standing of a Bar. Experience in pay equity, OFCCP audit defense and EEO compliance matters is preferred. Some litigation experience in judicial or administrative proceedings, including discovery, motion practice, trials and post-trial motions and appeals is desired.
