Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-5 years of experience. Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Assist in the preparation of cases for trial and appellate proceedings
  • Participate in all phases of discovery, including document review and production
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and case requirements
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case strategy and execution
  • Stay current with developments in relevant law and legal practice areas

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas (or eligibility for admission by waiver)
  • 4-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on white-collar defense, securities enforcement, and litigation, False Claims Act/healthcare litigation, antitrust counseling and litigation, and internal investigations
  • Experience as a federal judicial clerk is a plus
  • Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated record of achievement
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
