Temporary Legal Assistant The candidate will work with Legal Staff to create and organized the Trustâ€™s files, records, and archives. Will assist with FOIL requests. Assist with the collection and filing of Certificates of Insurance. Develop and prepare presentations, meeting agendas, and communication materials. Transcribe Board meeting minutes. Scan and record various documents. Secure and maintain confidential information. Contribute to special projects. Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. Develop and maintain filing systems. Proof-reading and drafting of documents under the direction of an attorney. Should have 1+ year of experience. Should have a BA degree and relevant experience. Experience as an Administrative Assistant, Legal Assistant, or similar administrative experience is helpful. Excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is needed. Proficient typing skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and administrative writing proficiency is essential. Note: This is 4 months contract position.
