The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of US and foreign patent prosecution work including preparing and filing US and PCT patent applications, Information Disclosure Statements, responses to Office Actions, and other prosecution documents with the USPTO, reviewing and preparing correspondence to and from clients and foreign associates, and maintaining a large docket. Prepares forms and electronic filings with the USPTO. Handles foreign filing including PCT applications and correspondence with foreign associates. Maintains a large docket of US and international patent matters to ensure all deadlines are timely met. Interfaces with clients to ensure their needs are handled. BA or BS degree preferred. Associate's degree or Paralegal certificate with 5 years of comparable work experience required. Proficiency in using computerized patent docketing systems and the USPTO website (experience with CPi and IPDAS a plus) required. Demonstrated excellent facility using MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), database and presentation software needed.
