Senior Counsel, Commercial Contracts The candidate will be primarily responsible and accountable for the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts with certain clients and business partners. In addition to the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, this position will provide legal advice and counsel to the Company’s strategic business units (SBUs) and functional units. The ideal candidate will have deep contracting expertise, substantial experience supporting global clinical trials, outstanding legal and business acumen, excellent leadership and customer service skills, and a positive “can-do” attitude. It is expected that the Senior Counsel, Legal & Risk Management will establish productive relationships with our internal and external clients and business partners and foster a client-focused approach with respect to the performance of all Legal & Risk Management responsibilities.

Qualification and Experience

A J.D. and Bar Admission Required. Should have strong professional experience as an attorney, including a minimum of 10+ years experience negotiating commercial contracts, including 4+ years law firm training (large multi-national law firm preferred). Previous CRO, life sciences, or technology industry experience is a plus. The ability to understand risks, balance competing interests, and provide appropriate advice is critical to success for this position.
