Location:
Duties:
- Meet and screen potential new clients to assess case viability.
- Cover depositions and hearings for workers' compensation cases.
- Open new case files and ensure accurate documentation.
- Develop a strong understanding of workers' compensation law and related legal processes.
- Conduct research on case-related factual issues using internal and external resources.
- Assist senior attorneys as needed in case preparation and management.
- Review and analyze medical records relevant to workers' compensation cases.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and people skills, including excellent telephone etiquette.
- High level of attention to detail and ethical practice in managing legal matters.
- Ability to manage client relationships and maintain cultural awareness.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Arizona, or bar passage with pending admission.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Arizona Bar (pending admissions considered).
Skills:
- Proficiency in document review software and case management software.
- Strong research and legal writing skills.
- Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
