Senior Legal Assistant, Contract Duties: Administrative support to litigation paralegal and lawyer (when requested) i.e.. Preparing and processing documents. Memos and transcription. Client contact. Diarizing calendars. Organize and maintain document and case files (both electronic and hard copy. Occasional reception coverage per the staff schedule. Medical legal and defence medical requests i.e. Obtaining dates, correspondence to and from assessors and clients, compiling medical briefs, making transportation arrangements, appointment reminders.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Legal Administration diploma is required. 5+ years’ experience in personal injury civil litigation is required. Typing speed of 60 wpm is required. Must be organized, have the ability to work independently and to prioritize workload.
