Paralegal The candidate will prepare and maintain corporate records and associated records. Will Handle and maintain over 200 trusts, from formation, mergers, and managing assets and related tax issues. Process proxy requests from clientsâ€™ private businesses and coordinate execution of necessary documentation. Under the supervision of the General Counsel, draft Corporate and Trust documents. Draft and review closing documents; coordinate closings with outside counsel; organize and maintain permanent files for properties; prepare real estate filings; prepare documentation for building permits. Electronic Document Retention and Permanent Files. Must have significant paralegal experience in an estate planning or real estate practice. Paralegal certification preferred. Should have formal training and/or educational background in real estate, corporate documentation and trusts; and/or ongoing paralegal continuing education courses. Must have excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to create and maintain multiple spreadsheets classifying entities and reference data. Should have technical skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
