Entry Level Legal Assistant/ Customer Service
The candidate will be responsible for performing tasks: Speak with clients over the phone about their case; Communicate with government agencies about multiple client's cases; Communicate with medical providers; Data entry of client information into online government systems; Manage a high number of clients; Scan and sort mail; Help prepare cases for hearing; Assist attorneys in other areas of the practice. Must have a high school graduate or equivalent. Ability to type 40+ wpm is required. Good communication skills are must. A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is necessary. A desire to learn a new industry and a winning attitude is critical and must have excellent telephone and customer service skills (this is a must!). Preferred experience: Legal Assistant: 1 year, Customer Service: 1 year, Legal: 1 year, Microsoft Office: 1 year. High school or equivalent is required.
