Immigration Paralegal The candidate will provide legal support and to assist in immigration case processing. Will work under the supervision of an Attorney or team lead. Handle cases and will begin to teach and mentor others. Perform intake of cases, troubleshooting and establishing case strategy. Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency. Draft petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and other immigration benefits. Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issues, assisting with the review of cases. Prioritize and assign cases, monitor workload and production. File documents internally and with government agencies. Review and approve client billing. Assist in the hiring and training of new team members. Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications. Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems. Run reports as needed. Work closely in a team environment. Build knowledge of Firm and client processes. Identify ways to improve team productivity and office-wide projects. Other duties as assigned The candidate should have Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience as a corporate business immigration paralegal. Must have strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas and client processes. Experience drafting RFEs and PERM Audit responses, and drafting and filing large volumes of immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, including Outstanding Researcher and PERM is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment is essential. Must have 3+ years corporate immigration experience wanting to continue legal career with the industry leading experts.
