Immigration Paralegal Duties: Will partner with Immigration attorneys and work with the paralegal team on all aspects of case preparation. This is a redesigned role, which will utilize the candidate s experience, while creating professional development opportunities to work with different attorneys, oversee junior paralegals, manage the day-to-day work on various accounts, and have exposure to the unique opportunities that come with working in a general practice firm. Preparation and delegation of H-1B, J-1, L-1, O-1, TN, E-1/E-2, EB-1, and all other types of NIV and IV petitions. Preparation of PERM labor certification cases. Extensive communication with government agencies and clients. Proactive consideration of all stages of the case. Docket review and managing visa expirations. Partner with attorneys to improve client processes. Assist on special projects as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree required. 5+ years of business immigration experience required; experience in a law firm setting preferred. Outstanding client service. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion. Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability and logical thought process. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands to meet various deadlines. Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enthusiastic, proactive and positive attitude. Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. Self-motivated to produce quality, consistent work. High level of integrity and honesty. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical.
