Tax Services Associate Summer 2019 The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Law. 3.3 Major GPA is preferred. Client service associate positions are entry-level and job seekers are typically in the final academic year of completing their educational requirements or have graduated. Master's degree in Accountancy or Taxation is desired. Play an integral role as a professional in National Tax Services practice. Identify and address client needs: build solid relationships with clients; develop an awareness of Firm services; approach clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner; deliver clear requests for information; and demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks. Participate in all phases of the tax consulting and compliance engagements, including planning, execution and completion. Research tax laws, rules and regulations and analyze their application to specific situations. Participate in a wide range of projects; consistently demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative. Consistently demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. Should have solid understanding of tax compliance and consulting services, including planning, strategy and execution. Must have general knowledge of federal and state tax laws. Demonstrated ability to research and analyze tax laws, rules and regulations and to analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters. Experience demonstrating strong problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is required.
