Internship -Law Clerk The candidate will assist the Managing Attorney and Staff Attorneys with the drafting, review, and compiling of motions, discovery demands/responses, case pleadings, and trial documents. Will assist attorneys with the preparation of pleadings, motions, and case discovery. Assist attorneys with the legal research necessary to defend and/or prosecute motions. Assist attorneys with preparing cases and the necessary exhibits for trial. Assist attorneys and other staff with other day to day activities within the office as assigned. Excellent research and writing skills demonstrated through a writing sample are needed. Meaningful experience and knowledge of software applications including Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, Internet searches and other web-based applications are needed. Effective communication skills that allows for positive interactions with coworkers, clients, divisional partners and outside vendors are needed. A strong and unwavering commitment to customer service and high quality legal work is needed.
