Associate Litigation Attorney Candidate will work for a personal injury law firm. Will handle: Jury Trials. Taking depositions. Preparing clients and presenting them for depositions. Filing lawsuits. Negotiating settlements. Drafting and responding to written discovery. Prepare demands and/or review draft demand packages prepared by staff. Assist and manage staff with reductions on medical bills, liens, and subrogation claims. Assist Lead Attorneys in negotiating TOP settlement results, plus discuss options and settlement/release authority with clients.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: JD Degree. Associate or Bachelor undergraduate degree. Member of the Texas Bar. Experience dealing with statute of limitation issues. Must be a licensed attorney with 1-4 years of litigation experience.​ Must be willing to work in a high-paced environment.​ Bilingual in Spanish/​English preferred.​ Must have experience working a Plaintiff's personal injury docket, preferably with primary concentration on car and truck accidents and premises liability cases. Must be able to identify the 5+ typos and mistakes in this job posting. A high level of professionalism. Must be responsible, highly detail-oriented, and organized. Excellent communication skills. Great negotiation skills. NICE to have: Bilingual (Spanish/English). Experience with the "Needles" case management system. Experience with mass tort cases.
